Christ Presbyterian Academy
This private school’s newly completed Soli Deo Center created an opportunity for the school to take a fresh look at its campus, rename its buildings and apply a strategic, intentional wayfinding system. The new state-of-the-art welcome center houses all administrative offices for the academy, a complete theater and black box theater, a sweet shop, and a grand lobby available for community gatherings.
Challenge
Like a lot of private schools, Christ Presbyterian Academy has grown and expanded its footprint bit by bit over many years, resulting in a string of poorly identified buildings and challenging wayfinding for students, staff, and visitors.
Solution
By establishing a clear hierarchy of destinations, we helped position the new Soli Deo Center as the “front door” for the campus. We re-imagined the existing buildings as a working system instead of a collection of singular structures. We created new vehicular and pedestrian wayfinding systems according to this hierarchy, clearly marking desinations and taking care to maintain CPA’s visual brand. The result: a campus that students and visitors want to explore.

We helped our client transform a growing cluster of buildings into a cohesive, strategic campus system built for education.
