Bank of Tennessee, Kingsport
Serving as bookends to the lobby entrance space, two brand walls were designed for Bank of Tennessee’s Kingsport location, the city where the company first began. The client wanted to celebrate the prominent role Kingsport played in launching the Bank and growing it’s branches, so a town map was designed to highlight historical and Bank-significant locations. Tennessee-sourced reclaimed wood was hand-planed and routed to create city streets and highways, while the South Fork of the Holston River is illustrated by inlaid brushed aluminum, which matches the detailed location tags. The second wall contains the Bank’s dimensional logo, fabricated from the same reclaimed lumber.
